Anthony Simpson

Anthony Simpson joined MyDeejay.com after more than 10 years in the music industry. His career in deejaying began in 1994, when he began assisting disc jockeys in his native New York City. He has since performed for hundreds of weddings, corporate events, and social functions in and around New York and Washington, DC.

"It's incredible to have found a career that combines my love for music and working with people," Anthony says. "Making people happy through great music is something I've always tried to do, and I love working with my clients to choose the songs that will make their wedding exactly what they've envisioned."

Anthony's passion for music has been a lifelong pursuit. A talented trumpet player, Anthony graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Maryland, College Park. There, he performed as a key member of the Generics, the university's nationally-recognized, all-male a cappella group. He also performed in several professional a cappella groups after college, including the award-winning Route 1.
