6-27-2009 – Congratulations to Susan and Jason!

The opulent Louisiana Restaurant in downtown Baltimore, Maryland was the setting for Susan & Jason’s wedding celebration.  From the moment the restaurant doors opened for the event, it was like stepping back in time — the venue’s decor is a mix of dark, ornate detailing, burgundy and gold fabrics, and classic Renaissance-era paintings on the walls.  Susan and Jason chose to stick with Rat Pack style music for their wedding, in keeping with the classic theme.

The tone of the evening was set by Susan’s and Jason’s first dance to Frank Sinatra’s “Embraceable You,” after which their guests dined and danced to similar timeless classics by the likes of Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Glenn Miller and Louis Armstrong.  This was an extremely elegant event and I was glad Susan and Jason had me as part of it!
