Brian and Shruti hosted an intimate Indian-American wedding for close family and friends in late March of 2011. Marcela from the Washington Marriott in DC, where this event was hosted, was terrific to work with and definitely made this a smooth and beautiful wedding for all.
The couple’s first dance was to “How Deep Is Your Love” by Bee Gees. It was so great to see how much love they have for each other!
Although some of the bride’s family members were Indian, she didn’t want only Indian songs played. As a result, the couple and their guests were all dancing to hits from the 70’s, 80’s, as well as current top 40 hits. A few Banghra songs were played too, which got everyone on the dance floor!
