MyDeejay is a boutique company that is truly one-of-a-kind.  Every policy, every procedure -- basically, everything we do -- has been designed specifically to benefit our clients and demonstrate that we operate our business with transparency and integrity.

Talent - Our DJs are available exclusively through MyDeejay, and perform exclusively for weddings and high-end corporate events.  They are among the most talented, creative and versatile DJs in the Baltimore / Washington, DC area.  Our standards for our performers are extremely high, and because of our reputation for excellence, we've been able to attract the very best talent available.  In addition to their prior DJ experience, each of our performers underwent an extensive (6+ months) orientation and training process to learn our way of doing business.  This is part of our commitment to consistency -- ensuring that each of our clients has a perfect experience with MyDeejay.

Dedication - Our DJs are also loyal to our company and to our clients, and are committed to the long-term success of MyDeejay.  They believe in the way we do business because they are such a big part of our operation.  Our performers do so much more than show up on the day of the event.  They help to run our company, through researching new technology, acquiring music, contributing to the development of new policies, and participating in industry events.  They also make themselves available to their clients from the first day of contact through the wedding day itself, for questions, planning advice, song suggestions and more.  Because they are such an integral part of our success, and because our expectations are so high, we also pay our DJs significantly more than any other company in the area.  We want our DJs to make their career with MyDeejay, and feel grateful that so many have.

Fair Pricing - We are the only company that we know of to commit to a fair, impartial, flat-rate pricing structure for all of our events.  We're upfront about our pricing, because we believe this is information you should have at the outset of your research.  For events in the greater Baltimore / Washington, DC / Northern Virginia area, the only factor we consider is the month of the wedding.  We include all of the equipment that is needed for the event -- we don't nickel-and-dime you for "options" just to provide a lower initial price quote, and we don't force you to sit through a sales presentation just to find out how much we cost.

Real Backup - We are also the only company that we know of who utilizes a truly solid "backup plan" in case of emergency.  Every day that we have an event, someone from our main roster -- the specific DJs found on our Performers page -- is reserved as an emergency DJ.  That person is prepared with all of his equipment, appropriate attire, and the music and event notes for every single event on our schedule, and is on call throughout the day and evening.  Each one of our DJs, including the company owner, fulfills this responsibility on a rotating basis.  We fully understand that there are no "do-overs" when it comes to special events, especially weddings.  We do not gamble the success of your event (or our company's reputation) on outside contractors, inexperienced backup DJs, or unfamiliar equipment if something were to happen.  This plan is a major investment for our company and for our DJs, both financially and logistically, but we're committed to ensuring the complete satisfaction of our clients -- even if we were faced with a true emergency.

Comprehensive Insurance - In addition to our company's insurance policy, each of our DJs carries full liability insurance in the amount of $2,000,000.  This protects not only the DJ and MyDeejay, but also you as the client, in the event that the DJ or a guest were injured at an event.
